A Lahore-Based Leader in Vertical Transportation — Our journey traces back to JM Elevator, founded in 1968 by Abdul Jabbar, a pioneer in elevator installation and service across Pakistan. From the very beginning, the company worked on major projects such as Mayo Hospital, Lahore; Bin Qasim Power Plant, Karachi; Wapda House, Lahore; and other landmark installations, establishing itself as one of the oldest and most reliable elevator service providers in the country. In 1975, a dedicated manufacturing unit was established in Lahore to produce elevator components, including cabins, doors, control panels, and related accessories, expanding the business from installations into full-scale manufacturing. I joined JM Elevator in 1995, taking charge of operations under my father’s guidance and gaining hands-on experience and mentorship in the elevator business. In 2001, I traveled to Europe for advanced training in elevator systems, and upon returning in 2002, I assumed full responsibility for the family business. Following my father’s advice, I founded Gold Elevator Co. in 2008 as a branch of JM Elevator, building on decades of industry experience. Today, Gold Elevator Co. designs, manufactures, installs, and services a wide range of vertical transportation solutions, including passenger elevators, hospital bed lifts, escalators, and stair lifts, and has become a recognized name in Pakistan’s elevator industry, known for innovation, quality, and reliable service.
